Christmas is over and we are now back home after almost 2 weeks visiting both our families. While we were sad to say goodbye it is nice to be back at our own house. The boys were pretty excited to walk into our living room and find all of their Christmas presents just as they left them. (We flew to Seattle Christmas morning so coming home was like the continuation of Christmas.) Now that we are home we finally have a chance to get some pictures posted.

Here we are reading The Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve. Max was pretty tired as you see.

Christmas Eve we went out to eat at a Thai restaurant. We fully admit that we have some strange Christmas traditions.

Ben asked everyday leading up to the moment it finally happened, if he could eat the gingerbread house. This was his big moment.

There was no room inside the sippy cup of hot (actually lukewarm) chocolate for the whip cream. Max was very content with the compromise.

New pajamas!

Max got a Dyson from his great-grandparents. Abbey is just a little jealous.

Max got Ben a guitar. While we were in Seattle we repeatedly heard Ben say, "I want to go home so I can play my guitar."

Both boys got scooters.

Max loves his new snow boots.

A new apron from Max's aunt, for all of his projects.
